The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, a member of the Xiaomi 14 series, is about to hit the market soon. It will be the model with top-of-the-line specifications. Per several reports, the phone will come out in March 2024 and could cost around CNY 6,000, the price at which the Xiaomi 13 Ultra came out. Here’s everything you should know about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s Camera Setup

According to Digital Chat Station, a Chinese tipster, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a quad rear camera setup including four 50MP cameras. The primary sensor on the device is the Sony LYT900 (f/1.63), equivalent to an f/4.3 full-frame aperture. Between the other three sensors, two could be telephoto shooters with different focal lengths, like those on the Galaxy S23 Ultra, and one could be a depth sensor.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra also featured a similar camera setup, with a 50MP primary sensor (equivalent aperture to f/4.0 full frame) for those catching up. The other three cameras provided 5x optical zoom, 3.2x optical zoom, and 122-degree ultrawide field of view. From what it looks like, Xiaomi has decided to stick with the same camera setup, barring minor hardware and software upgrades.

The tipster also mentions that Xiaomi 14 Ultra will feature Qualcomm’s latest and fastest chip for Android phones, i.e., Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (4nm). Regarding battery life, the Ultra variant is said to carry a 5,180 mAh battery that supports 90W wireless and up to 50W wired charging, similar to the latest flagships from OnePlus. Out of the box, the smartphone should run on Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS user interface built on Android.

The smartphone should also feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution. Other qualities include curved screens and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. That is the extent of information on Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship.
