Another week down, let's take a look back at the top stories. Apple confirmed its iPhone 14 series announcement will happen on September 7. The lineup will almost certainly include the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Rumor has it the Pros will get the new A16 Bionic, ProMotion displays, the new pill-shaped punch hole Face ID instead of the notch, a new selfie camera with AF, and a new 48MP main camera with 8K video. The non-Pro's will retain the A15 Bionic, have 60Hz displays, and likely the camera setup of the iPhone 13 Pro.

Sony will unveil the Xperia 5 IV on September 1. Leaks have formed a picture of a phone with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a triple 12MP camera, a 6.04-inch display, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a compact body that measures 155.74mm tall and 67.1mm wide.

Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra will have the same overall design and dimensions as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Further, the camera array on the back will be the same, design-wise. The sensors could be different, but the cutouts will be the same.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A04 with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, 50MP camera, a Unisoc SC9863A chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery.

Finally, vivo will unveil the X80 Pro+ in September. The X80 Pro+ is expected to debut with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset alongside an upgraded camera setup. Rumors suggest the X80 Pro+ may include the 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 (1/2.76 inch size, 0.64 μm pixel size) and 50MP ISOCELL JN2 (1/1.12 inch size, 1.4um pixel size) alongside the existing 50MP main and 48MP ultrawide sensors from the X80 Pro.

See you in a week!
