Vivo X90 series to debut today in China: Check pricing, specifications, and features

Vivo is all set to roll out the Vivo X90 series in China starting, and the launch event will start at 4:30 PM according to the Indian Standard Time (IST). The series consists of three smartphones, including Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro+. Apart from that, the Vivo TWS 3 will also hit the market in the same event. There is no word regarding the launch of smartphones in the Indian market, along with the tentative pricing. However, leaks have already suggested to us what we can expect in terms of the launch date and pricing of the smartphone.

Vivo X90 series launch time and how to watch the event?

The Vivo X90 series’ launch event will start at 7:00 PM in China. The launch will be available for live streaming on various platforms, including some e-commerce sites too. However, the easiest way to do the same is to rely on the official Weibo handle of Vivo and watch the launch there. If you are willing to watch the launch in India, then you need to download a VPN application and use it, as Weibo doesn’t work in India. Speculations are that the launch will be live-streamed via YouTube too, and if it happens, then we will share the link for the same.

Vivo X90 series expected India pricing

We have little or no information on the pricing of the smartphone due to the absence of any official confirmation from Vivo. Speculations are that the vanilla variant of the series will be priced somewhere around Rs 45,000. The Vivo X90 Pro might be priced somewhere around Rs 60,000. The high-end variant of the series could be priced at around Rs 80,000 in the Indian market.

The Vivo X90 could ship with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display complemented with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone will work on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. As for the camera, we can get to see a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, a 12MP portrait shooter, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter. On the front, the smartphone could rock a 32MP snapper for the sake of selfies and video calls. The device is powered by a 4700mAh battery coupled with 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.

The Vivo X90 Pro may come with a similar display as the vanilla variant. The smartphone could flaunt a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP secondary sensor, and a 12MP tertiary shooter. For capturing selfies and attending video calls, the smartphone will have a 32MP front snapper. The handset will draw power from a 4810mAh battery along with 120W fast charging support.

The high-end variant of the series, Vivo X90 Pro+, will feature a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a similar charging capacity as the vanilla variant with a 4700mAh battery. When it comes to the camera, we can get to see a quad rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary lens, 50MP secondary lens, 48MP tertiary lens, and a 64MP lens. With the configuration of the camera system, we can say that the device will be able to deliver high-quality photographs in multiple lighting conditions. Similar to the vanilla and the mid-level variant, this one will also have a 32MP front snapper.
