Vivo to launch a host of products in February-March 2024: V30 Series, X100 Ultra, Pad 3 & more tipped

7 months ago 45

Tech giant Vivo has had a quiet 2024 so far apart from launching the X100 Series in India. However, now the brand is gearing up for a host of product launches that will take place in February and March 2024. These launches are scheduled after the Chinese Spring Festival and will include local and global announcements.

Vivo V30 Series, Vivo X100 Ultra, Vivo Pad 3, and Vivo X Fold 3 are some of the devices that are tipped to arrive in the upcoming months. Here is what we know about the devices as well as their launch timelines.

Vivo X100 Ultra

Vivo recently launched the X100 Series of smartphones in India. It includes Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. Now, it seems the brand is planning to add one more member to the X100 Series. The Vivo X100 Ultra is tipped to launch in Q2, 2024. While the reports don’t confirm this particular name, the codename ‘Thanos’ is expected to be the name for the Vivo X100 Ultra.

The Vivo X100 Ultra might sport an E7 AMOLED display and be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It might have a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 100W wired charging support and 50W wireless charging support. At the back will be a 50MP quad-camera setup and the main sensor is expected to be the Sony LYT-900.

Vivo Pad 3

Vivo Pad 3 is also expected to be announced alongside the Vivo X100 Ultra. The 3rd generation Vivo Pad is said to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset and features 80W fast charging capability. There might be a 13-inch 3K resolution display.

Vivo X Fold 3

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that Vivo might launch the 3rd generation foldable lineup in March 2024. Since Vivo X Fold 2 was launched in April 2023, the launch does make sense. The Vivo X Fold 3 series will include- Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. A post on Weibo about the series mentions an “all round thin and light” foldable smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This one will most probably be the Pro version. The vanilla X Fold 3 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

Not only the chipset but the Pro Version is expected to arrive with exclusive features like an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader, 64MP periscope telephoto lens, and wireless charging support. The vanilla model will be more affordable in terms of price.

Vivo V30 Series

The successor to the Vivo V29 Series, the Vivo V30 Series of smartphones has officially been teased by Vivo. A dedicated microsite has gone live on Vivo’s Philippines website that shows the silhouette of the devices from front and back, thus giving an idea of their basic design. The V30 Series will include 2 models- V30 and V30 Pro. The phone in the teaser image has curved edges to the sides and a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for selfie snapper. On the rear panel is a square camera module to include the rear camera sensors. The volume rocker and power button are housed on the right edge.

The series claims to offer flagship-level performance with smart photography features, ample storage space, and a superior chipset. The microsite hints towards a launch soon, but the exact date isn’t confirmed yet.

While Vivo V30 Series is confirmed, the other three devices are based on speculations only, so till they get confirmed, we should take the details with a grain of salt.
