TVS Apache RTR 310 Debuts Tomorrow: Here’s What Enthusiasts Can Look Forward To

1 year ago 52

TVS Motor Company is gearing up for a significant release, the Apache RTR 310, which is the naked streetfighter rendition of the Apache RR 310. The company is scheduled to reveal this new motorcycle tomorrow, and there’s plenty to anticipate from their latest flagship offering. In anticipation of the launch, pre-bookings for the bike had already begun, starting at Rs. 3,100 via the official website.

Apache RTR 310 Specifications

The upcoming naked motorcycle is likely to share its powerplant with the Apache RR 310, featuring a 312 cc reverse-inclined single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 33 bhp and 27.3 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Notably, the RR 310 offers four distinct riding modes: Urban, Rain, Sport, and Track.

In its fully faired counterpart, this motorcycle achieves a 0-60 kmph sprint in 2.93 seconds and boasts a top speed of 160 kmph. Given the anticipated lower kerb weight of the RTR 310, one can expect it to deliver even quicker acceleration and a higher top speed.

The upcoming Apache RTR 310 is expected to share many of its foundational components with its sibling, the RR 310. However, based on the teaser video released by the brand a few weeks ago, it appears that the motorcycle will showcase some distinctive characteristics. As a naked bike, it will prominently display its mechanical and chassis elements, following the design philosophy of other models in the RTR lineup.

The motorcycle will sport an assertive front end, featuring a split-type LED headlamp setup and a stylish gold-finished flat and wide handlebar. Its tank will exhibit sharp lines, emphasizing its aggressive styling. The saddle will be of the split-seat variety, complemented by an exposed rear subframe. The rear tail lamp will adopt a split-type design as well.

Apache RTR 310 Features

Anticipated features for the RTR 310 include an upside-down fork setup at the front with a gold finish and a monoshock at the rear. TVS may also provide the option of adjustable suspension, similar to the RR 310 BTO variant. Braking on the motorcycle is expected to be managed by petal-type disc brakes at both ends, featuring a dual-channel ABS system for enhanced safety and control.
