In anticipation of the Japan Mobility Show set to commence on October 27, Toyota has taken the wraps off its latest concept: the Land Cruiser Se. This groundbreaking concept introduces an electrified iteration of Toyota’s beloved SUV, the Land Cruiser. Although specifics about the concept remain limited, Toyota has offered a glimpse of its unique characteristics through a series of digital renderings. These visual representations highlight the concept’s striking, angular, and futuristic design. At the forefront, the SUV boasts a fully enclosed grille, flanked by sleek headlights and an understated “TOYOTA” insignia.

Moving towards the rear, the vehicle showcases pronounced fenders, sleek blacked-out pillars, and intricately styled bodywork. Additionally, distinct features include a distinctive greenhouse design, a seemingly “floating” roof, and a rounded rear end accentuated by a slender light bar.

Toyota has divulged the critical dimensions of the Land Cruiser Se, revealing a substantial length of 5,150 mm, with a wheelbase spanning an impressive 3,050 mm. Additionally, Toyota emphasizes that this concept will provide a high-torque battery electric driving experience, suggesting a twin electric motor setup with its three-row configuration. Notably, the company underscores the Land Cruiser’s impressive quietness, particularly in urban settings and “on-road situations.” This emphasis signals a clear focus on urban and on-road performance, as opposed to venturing far off the traditional beaten path.
