The clones are coming. Android phones will likely get the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island-like features soon.

Apple iPhone 14 Pro Dynamic Island has caught the attention of Android smartphone manufacturers too and they too are looking at bringing the feature on their handsets. So, if you are impressed with the Dynamic Island and don't want to buy the expensive iPhone 14 Pro, then there is good news for you- the clones are coming to give the new iPhones a run for their money.

Android smartphone makers may be eyeing the Dynamic Island for their smartphones, but they are not up to speed with the tech, but are looking to overcome that problem. Realme has already shared its intention of bringing this feature with its latest community post. It has even invited feedback from its users on possible design changes for its upcoming devices. Seeking ideas on how to integrate a Dynamic Island-like feature on Realme phones, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has actually started a contest it calls, "Realme Island - Creators Challenge."

According to the company, the planned software feature would make the camera cutout a multipurpose feature. Realme claims that the user interface (UI) surrounding the camera hole may change to show incoming calls, alarms, notifications, and more in various sizes and shapes. Realme also confirmed that the top-voted suggestions for the ideas of using the Dynamic Island-like concepts would be considered by its UI developers for future implementation. The company will showcase the most voted proposals on September 24.

Realme is not the only smartphone brand to show its interest in utilizing the first-of-its-kind Dynamic Island feature on its Android smartphones. Xiaomi's China President Lu Weibing recently asked users about their thoughts on using the "smart island" functionality on Xiaomi smartphones.

Of course, if you want an Android phone with this feature you will have to wait for it to be rolled out. However, the timeline for the same is not available
