The affordable Realme 9i launched with design inspired by MET Gala 2022 theme starting at Rs. 14,999

Realme on Thursday unveiled its new 5G device- the realme 9i 5G, featuring a vintage CD design, inspired by the MET Gala 2022 theme. The phone comes with Dimensity 810 5G chipset, supports 5G Dual SIM Dual Standby, and a lot more. According to the company, the Realme 9i 5G is an ultra slim 5G smartphone with an 8.1mm body and weighs only 187g. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery along with super power-saving mode and a 50MP AI Triple Camera with a 50MP Ultra HD Primary Camera, a portrait lens, and a 4cm macro lens.

The phone also gets a 6.6-inch 90Hz display. Besides this, the Realme 9i 5G supports Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology (DRE), which adds 3GB of virtual RAM and allows up to 1TB external memory expansion via Micro SD card and side fingerprint scanner with a capacitive recognition system. The Realme 9i 5G is available across mainline channels and online platforms in two metallic finishes – Gold and Rocking Black and in two storage options: 4GB+64GB at Rs. 14,999 and 6GB+128GB at Rs. 16,999.

The initial sale will take place on August 24, 12 noon on Flipkart. com, realme.com, and mainline channels.

The 4GB + 64GB variant of the phone priced at Rs. 14,999 can be available with bank offers including Rs. 1000 off on ICICI Bank Debit Card, Credit Card and EasyEMI on realme.com; and Rs. 1000 off on HDFC Bank Debit Card, Credit Card and EasyEMI on Flipkart.com. The offer price of the phone is Rs. 13,999. Similarly, the 6GB + 128 GB variant of the Realme 9i 5G will be available at an offer price of Rs. 15,999, and comes with the same bank offers as the other variant.

Realme 9i 5G: Highlights

1. Realme 9i 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset. The Dimensity 810 features a powerful GPU, the Arm Mali-G57 MC2, with a clock speed of 950MHz, the company informed.

2. Realme 9i 5G introduces the first Vintage CD Design, reintroducing the golden trend to the tedious industry, inspired by the MET Gala 2022 style. "For the first time, the Realme 9i 5G uses the true unicover method, which integrates and unites the camera with the back shell of the fuselage, eliminating the usual camera housing and making the camera and the back fit more securely," the company said.

3. The phone has a 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display with an adaptive 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum sampling rate of 180Hz.

4. The phone sports a 50MP AI Triple Camera.

5. The Realme 9i 5G comes with a 5000mAh battery which can be quickly charged via 18W type-C quick charging.
