Let us have a look at the features of the Tecno Camon 30 Series first.

Tecno Camon 30 & Tecno Camon 30 5G: Specs

Tecno Camon 20

The Tecno Camon 30 and Camon 30 5G sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphones have a 5000mAh battery with 70W wired fast charging capability.

In terms of the camera, there is a 50MP primary OIS-enabled sensor at the back along with a 2MP depth sensor and an AI camera. At the front is a 50MP selfie snapper with autofocus support. The smartphones run HiOS-based Android 14 out of the box and have 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

While most of the features are the same, chipset is different for 5G and 4G versions. Camon 30 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC while Camon 30 4G comes with a Helio G99 chipset.

Additional features include an in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, IR blaster, glass and leather back variants, NFC, and more.

Tecno Camon 30 Pro and Tecno Camon 30 Premier flaunt a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. While the Pro edition comes with an FHD+ resolution of 1080×2436 pixels, the Premier version has an LTPO panel with 1.5K resolution.

The smartphones are powered by the same Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset but there is a difference in storage configurations. Tecno Camon 30 Pro comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage while the Tecno Camon 30 Premier offers 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage. These two pack 5000mAh batteries under the hood with 70W wired fast charging.

The smartphones run Android 14 with a layer of HiOS 14 on top and come with dual speakers and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

In terms of camera optics, both have a 50MP selfie shooter at the front with autofocus. The difference is in terms of rear camera specs. This is because the Pro version comes with a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor at the back while the Premier version has a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The Premier model also comes with Tecno’s PolarAce Imaging system to reduce noise for HDR videos.

Tecno Pocket Go

Tecno has shown off a portable gaming controller with an AR headset, the Tecno Pocket Go. It is a handheld gaming device set that includes a controller, and companion AR glasses. The device is lightweight and easy to carry around and Tecno claims it is the world’s first gaming set with Windows handheld and AR glasses.

Pocket Go Controller is slightly heavier than other controllers and includes all the hardware required for running a full-fledged PC. A new game CPU is inside with eight cores, 16 threads, and turbo speeds. With a 50Wh battery that is replaceable, gamers can enjoy a long battery life without interruptions.

The Go Vision AR Glasses have a 0.71-inch micro-OLED display that makes you feel as if you are watching a 215-inch TV from six meters away. It gives a wide view and quality like you are in a movie theater.

Tecno Rollable phone

A cool rollable device has been shown off that is a prototype as of now. The device has a display that slides open to give a canvas for consuming content on it. The display rolls out from the device’s body, just like unfurling a scroll. When closed, it looks like a regular smartphone with a display tucked away inside the frame. The display takes seconds to slide open and this sliding mechanism gives versatility to the display. Manufacturing costs for such products are too high which makes their mass production a dream for now.

Dynamic 1 Robot Dog

Tecno has showcased a Dynamic 1 Robot Dog at the MWC. The design is inspired by the German Shepherd and the device claims to offer smart home entertainment, assistance, education, and more. It has a torque output of 45Nm/kg so this dog can climb stairs. The dog can bow and give a paw too. It has been equipped with an AI hyper sense fusion system and intel real sensor D430 depth camera. There is an 8-core Arm CPU as well.

The dog has 64GB storage, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity that can be operated via a smartphone app. Remote control operation and voice commands are also available. A 15000mAh battery offers 90 minutes of runtime and can be swapped and charged separately for minimum waiting time.
