The tipster writes in a post on X (previously known as Twitter) that the “Galaxy Z Fold 6 weighs 239g and finally reaches the first tier level. It weighs the same as the Voyager Black OnePlus Open.”

Further, the tipster has also shared some information about the Z Fold 6’s dimensions. He states that the upcoming foldable has an “unfolded thickness of 5.6mm, [and] a folded thickness of 12.1mm.” This makes the Z Fold 6 significantly thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 5, which has a thickness of 13.4mm when folded and 6.1mm when unfolded. While the Z Fold 6 undercuts its predecessor, it still doesn’t seem to be able to beat the OnePlus Open (11.7 mm when folded) and the Huawei Mate X5 (11.1mm when folded).

Moreover, Samsung’s upcoming foldable will be 1.4mm thinner and about 14 grams lighter than the current version, which is a step in the right direction. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is also said to feature a 7.6-inch foldable screen with a 7:6 aspect ratio and a 6.3-inch cover screen with a 22:9 aspect ratio. The leaked dimensions imply that the foldable will have a slightly different form factor than the Z Fold 5, which has a 7.6-inch inner screen with an aspect ratio of 5:6 and a 6.2-inch outer screen with a 23.1:9 aspect ratio.
