South Korea-based Tech giant Samsung has unveiled the latest additions to the Galaxy Family with the introduction of a host of FAN EDITION products. The brand has announced the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, and Samsung Galaxy Buds FE globally. FE which stands for Fan Editon are products that aim to give a premium experience at an affordable price.
While the Galaxy S23 FE 5G Smartphone was the star of the show, the other products aim to make their own mark. We have already talked about Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in detail, now let us talk about the specs and price of other devices.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series & Buds FE: Price & Availability
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE starts at EUR 529 for the base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ starts at EUR 699 for the base 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model.
Tablets will come in cellular models as well. Color variants are Gray, Lavender, Mint, and Silver.
- Samsung Galaxy Buds FE are priced at EUR 109 and come in Graphite and White shades.
The tablets as well as buds will go on sale from October 10. India pricing and availability will be announced soon.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE & Tab S9 FE+: Features
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ sport 10.9-inch and 12.4-inch WQXGA LCD panels respectively. The displays have a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The Tablets are powered by Exynos 1380 chipset and run Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box. While the Tab S9 FE comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage, the Tab S9 FE+ comes with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The storage can be expanded up to 1TB.
The tablets feature an 8MP rear camera at the back. The Plus model also has an 8MP ultrawide angle sensor at the back. At the front is a 12MP camera for selfies. While the Galaxy Tab S9 FE packs an 8000mAh battery, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ packs a 10,000mAh battery, both with support for 45W wired fast charging.
Connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The tablets are IP68-rated and feature dual speakers tuned by AKG, Dolby Atmos support, and S-Pen support.
Samsung Galaxy Buds FE: Specs
The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE TWS features a design similar to the previous Galaxy Buds Plus with wing tips. The FE Buds come with Active Noise Cancellation along with support for touch controls and multi-device connectivity. The buds are IPX2-rated for splash resistance and offer up to 6 hours of battery life when ANC is enabled.
With the charging case, the battery lasts for up to 21 hours with ANC on. When ANC is off, the buds last for 8.5 hours on their own and up to 30 hours with a charging case. The Galaxy Buds FE supports SBC and AAC audio codecs and works seamlessly with Android and iOS devices. The buds can connect via Bluetooth 5.2.
