The next-gen Samsung Galaxy S23 series is slated to launch early next month. The internet is actively filled with rumors, leaks, and purported marketing materials. Well, we just got our hands on the latest update and it is with respect to its camera tech that it will receive upgraded night vision.

The information comes from tipster Ice Universe according to whom, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will get a really good ‘Night Vision’ on its camera. The tipster emphasized ‘night vision’ which is a strong Google Pixel suit. Although Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is at the top of the pack at the moment, its night vision can be disputed to be the best.

With that being said, the tweet indicates that the Night Vision on the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra is anticipated to be better than before giving it impeccable low-light performance. What we can decipher from the tweet is that Samsung has actually worked on improving the phone’s night image post-processing in order to gain better low-light performance.

For the uninitiated, it isn’t just the camera hardware but the software plays a vital role in improving photography. Both the Google Pixel series and Apple iPhone series are great examples of sensors with lower megapixel counts but impressive performance. Android smartphones have upgraded to even 200MP sensors although the photography isn’t guaranteed to be the best for sure.

Additionally, publications believe that Ice Universe got his hands on a Galaxy S23 Ultra unit as well. At least, we expect that he got some images to compare the upcoming and predecessors.

Circling back to Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the device is likely to get a quad-camera setup housing a 108+12+12+2MP configuration. Of course, different sources have different configurations so we have come across 200+12+10+10MP configurations as well but that remains to be seen for sure.

We are certain that the phone has a 6.8” QHD+ 3088×1440 pixels resolution along with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood clocked at a max 3.36GHz. The device will get up to 1TB of storage and 12GB of RAM among other configs. A 4,855mAh battery will power the device although it will be marketed as a 5,000mAh pack.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series is all set to arrive on February 1st. It will make its debut almost a week ahead of OnePlus 11 5G Global launch on February 7th.
