Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Goes Official in India at a starting price of Rs. 49,999

Samsung has been in the news for its ‘Fan Edition’ variant of the Galaxy S23 Series. The brand has finally launched the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G smartphone globally alongside some other FE products like Tablets and Buds. The Galaxy S23 FE is the successor to the Galaxy S21 FE that came out last year. The Fan Edition smartphone comes with certain upgrades and promises to be an affordable flagship device.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 5G starts at a price of Rs. 49,999 in India. It comes in Mint, Graphite, Cream and Purple shades along with some special shades available on the Samsung website. The smartphone will go on sale during the upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival starting October 8.

The Galaxy S23 FE is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset based on a 4nm process. It comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. It sports a 6.4-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED panel with a 2340×1080 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection as well.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE runs Android 13 OS with One UI 5 and packs a 4500mAh battery with 25W wired and wireless charging as well. Samsung has also promised 4 years of software updates and 5 years of security patches with Galaxy S23 FE.

In terms of camera optics, there is a 50MP primary camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom. At the front is a 10MP front camera for selfies and video chats.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G Volte, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.1 port, and more. It has an IP68 rating for water resistance, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
