Android 13 operating system update is coming to Samsung Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A33. Here are the details you need to know.

Are you a Samsung Galaxy A73 or Galaxy A33 user? If yes, here is an update for you. Both the Samsung Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A33 will be receiving the Android 13 operating system update. Samsung is rolling out a stable One UI 5.0 update to both these smartphones. What needs to be noted is that the roll out, as of now, is happening in Malaysia and Europe, and is likely to be rolled out in other countries including India soon. However, there is no official confirmation regarding the date.

Both the devices- Samsung Galaxy A73 and Galaxy A33 were launched earlier this year with Android 12 operating system and this is the first major OS update the devices will get after the launch. Wondering what new the update will bring to the devices? Here are the details you need to know:

The latest One UI update brings firmware version A736BXXU2BVK2 to Samsung Galaxy A73. While the Galaxy A33 is getting updated to the firmware version A336BXXU4BVJG. It also brings Android security patches for the month of October to both of these handsets. In order to update the firmware manually you will have to go to the Settings and check for software updates and click on the Install (if available).

With Samsung One UI 5.0, users will be able to customize their home screen with new colour options, icons and quick panels. The update also brings up to 16 preset colour themes based on their wallpaper. It also offers reorganized menus for quick access to all ringtone volumes and vibration intensities, according to a report

Users will also be able to capture high-quality photos and video with a new icon in Pro and Pro Video mode. Samsung has also added a new dashboard that allows users to view the security status of their phone. It will also recommend ways to fix these security problems.
