Tech Outlook had recently leaked information that a new Moto phone was on the horizon. By the looks of it, it was most likely to have a carbon finish which is the same as their business laptop Lenovo ThinkPad X1. This phone was believed to be codenamed “ThinkPhone’.

In a new development, images of the phone have also been leaked by Hall of Fame tipster Evan Blass who has revealed some renders of the phone that confirm the earlier suspicions of the phone having a carbon finish like its laptop counterpart.

There have been revelations about the specifications of the device as well. It could possibly be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and shall feature a memory of 8GB or 12GB. Storage options that buyers get would be 128,156 or 512GB.

Motorola ThinkPhone specs and features

The camera setup that this phone may have will be a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera coupled with a 13MP ultra-wide camera along with a depth sensor. All your selfie demands and video chat demands will be met by a 32MP front camera.

The phone should be powered by a 5000 mAh battery that could come with a 68W wired charger along with 15W wireless charging. The phone comes with an IP68 rating which means it offers decent protection from dust and can also be submerged in nearly 5 feet of water for about half an hour.

Android 13 should be pre-installed on this phone and the phone is likely to have an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Motorola has now made a comeback after being the third most-selling brand of phones after Samsung and Apple. Motorola DROID which was the first phone to run Android 2.0 became the first real challenger to the iPhone. It may have lost its space in the market but has come back with some pretty good specs.
