1 year ago 56

One of the most popular smartphone series, the Redmi Note series, is about to get a refresh as the Chinese manufacturer gears up to launch the Note 13 series. Per reports, the series will consist of three smartphones: the Redmi Note 13, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus. As the naming suggests, the first two should be more affordable, while the Pro Plus variant should offer the best hardware of the three.

Redmi Note 13 Series Specifications

Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Redmi 13 series will include three phones, all of which will feature a 1.5K screen and an eye protection certification. Drawing information from previous leaks, the smartphones should have a 6.67-inch AMOLED curved-edge screen that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Out of the three smartphones, the top-end Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, with the model number 23090RA98C, will feature the Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. However, the Redmi Note 13 Pro, with the model number 2312DRA50C, is said to come with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. Although the three smartphones will ship in different RAM and storage variants, all models should start with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Redmi Note 13 and the Redmi Note 13 Pro models should feature a 5,120 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, an upgrade from the vanilla Redmi Note 12 that offers 33W wired charging. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus will come with a 5,000 mAh battery with up to 120W fast wired charging. Regarding cameras, the Pro Plus variant could come with a 200MP 1/1.4-inch Samsung sensor. All models could feature a triple-camera setup.

Since the company hasn’t confirmed these details, readers should take them with a pinch of salt. Nonetheless, the Redmi Note 13 series should roll out in China this month. However, there’s a good chance that the Indian launch of the smartphone could take place next month.
