Realme’s Madhav Sheth confirms Fold & Flip phones by the company: Details inside

1 year ago 70

The foldable market in India is on a constant rise and with brands like Samsung, Oppo, Motorola, Huawei, and Tecno already in the fray, now it seems Realme India is also about to mark its presence in the foldable market in the country. Realme India Head, Madhav Sheth teased a foldable and asked Realme fans if they want the Realme Fold or Realme Flip as the next product. It indicates that the brand is seriously considering entering the foldable market in India and maybe globally as well. Here is what we know about it so far.

Realme Fold/ Realme Flip: Expectations

The Realme Flip might have a design identical to the Oppo Find N2 Flip, while the Realme Fold might be similar to the Oppo Find N2 or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Chances are strong that Realme is ready with both Flip and Fold models on its hands.

Since the hints have come from the horse’s mouth itself, the launch might be coming closer and more teasers will soon be coming our way in the near future. Realme Flip and Realme Fold might also not be the real names of these foldables.

Realme’s plan to come up with foldables is not new as way back in November 2022, Realme’s China VP Xu Qi spoke about Realme’s future plans, wherein he also mentioned that the brand is planning to launch two GT-Neo branded phones, two number series phones, and 1 GT series model every year. He also claimed that the brand is working on an affordable foldable and if this turns out to be true, then other foldable brands will have a tough fight on their hands.

Considering how every brand tries to do something different with their foldables, we are really excited to see what Realme brings to the table. We promise to keep you updated with all the major developments, till then stay tuned to Smartprix for all the major updates about the tech world.
