Realme GT Neo 5 Series specs tipped ahead of launch on 5th January 2023

Realme is all set to launch the next in the GT Neo series. The brand is hosting an event on 5^th January 2023 wherein it will launch the Realme GT Neo 5 Series. The high-end variant will be the first smartphone to have 240W fast charging as the series is expected to include 2 models. Some specs and features of the GT Neo 5 Series have also surfaced online.

Realme GT Neo 5 Series: Expectations

The Realme GT Neo 5 line-up is expected to have 2 smartphones- GT Neo 5 and GT Neo 5 Pro. One of these was spotted on Weibo which revealed that the smartphone will feature a Sony IMX890 main camera sensor. The poster also reveals that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and support 240W fast charging. Only the Pro variant is expected to get 240W fast charging. The standard model is said to have 150W fast charging for a 5000mAh battery. Whereas the 240W smartphone will pack a 4600mAh battery.

Some design renders were shared exclusively by Smartprix which showed a triple camera setup at the back. The device was seen in white color.

The Realme GT Neo 5 is said to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. It might have a 144Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint scanner. An RGB lighting mechanism is also expected on the GT Neo 5 along with plastic framing. The brand might launch Realme UI 4.0 on Android 13 out of the box as well.
