The Chinese consumer electronics brand Oppo has finally confirmed the launch date for its purported mid-range smartphone, the A3 Pro 5G. Later this week, Oppo will launch the IP69-rated handset in three colors. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, which supports 5G connectivity. The processor is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of RAM. For clicking pictures, the phone has a 64MP (f/1.7) primary sensor. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery, which might support slightly faster wired charging.

The smartphone could arrive in three colors, including black, rose gold, and light blue. While these are generic color names, the brand’s model name could be different. While the rose gold variant might feature a glass back, the other two could have a vegan leather finish.

Oppo recently confirmed that the A3 Pro 5G will launch in China on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 02:30 PM local time. The top variant of the smartphone, with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, could cost around CNY 2,399, which is around Rs. 28,000.
