Oops! Google Pixel team makes embarrassing mistake on Twitter

Brand ambassadors and social media teams often end up making mistakes while promoting their products. Google's Pixel team had a notorious reputation for using an iPhone to make tweets promoting their own products. And whenever that happens, trolls on Twitter do not spare any opportunity to grab screenshots and make fun for the brand people. The same thing has happened again, where the Pixel social media team made a blunder while responding to Apple CEO Tim Cook.

In a response to Tim Cook's tweet related to Apple's new iPad models, the Google Pixel team came up with a cheeky response, promoting the new Google Pixel 7 devices. Sadly, the tweet was made via an iPhone and as with Twitter, it showcased the “Twitter on iPhone” tag. What next? The trolls went thumb happy with the screenshots.

Google Pixel team uses iPhone for tweeting

The social media team quickly realised the fault once people started pointing out and deleted it. It quickly replaced it with a tweet made via the Twitter Web app. This rectified the issue but the damage was already done.

This isn't the first time a blunder was made by the Google Pixel team. Back in 2018, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma used an iPhone to post a tweet from her iPhone, and that went viral among tech geeks. The same issue has been noted on Samsung's social media handles as well.
