The excitement surrounding OnePlus’ entry into the foldable phone market remains high, with recent reports indicating a delay in the OnePlus Open’s launch due to adjustments in display panel sourcing. Just days ago, we shared the updated renders of OnePlus Open showcased the design changes made by the company to the phone. Now, a potential price range for the OnePlus Open has surfaced, thanks to a tweet from tipster Yogesh Brar.
Yogesh Brar’s tweet suggests that the OnePlus Open could be priced at under Rs 1,20,000 in India. This pricing strategy positions the OnePlus Open as a strong contender, slightly above the Fold 4 and just below Samsung’s latest Z Fold 5 in terms of cost.
OnePlus Open Features
The OnePlus Open boasts a striking 7.8-inch foldable screen with a 2K resolution and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it showcases a secondary 6.3-inch external screen and a distinctive leather finish on the back panel, drawing inspiration from the design elements of the OPPO Find N2.
Fueling the OnePlus Open’s performance is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, coupled with a potential 16GB RAM configuration. However, expandable storage will not be a featured option.
The camera department showcases OnePlus’ collaboration with Hasselblad, featuring a 64MP primary sensor and a 48MP wide-angle lens. Notably, a periscope lens is also expected, promising enhanced optical zoom capabilities akin to other OnePlus and OPPO devices.
To keep the OnePlus Open powered throughout the day, a robust 4800mAh battery is in place, complemented by rapid 67W charging capabilities.
