New launched iQOO Z7s 5G vs iQOO Z7: Whats the difference

iQOO Z7 5G was the highest selling smartphone in the ₹20,000 category on Amazon in Q1. Hence, iQOO has been discreet in its launch for the new iQOO Z7s 5G and is already in the market for purchase. 

After the iQOO Z7 5G, which was unveiled in March of this year, the iQOO Z7s 5G becomes the second Z7-series phone to be released in the nation which is powered by the Dimensity 920. 

Let’s explore Z7s specs and the price they are offering for the model while comparing it with the earlier iQOO Z7 5G as well.

Let’s start with how different the  iQOO Z7s 5G appears from the iQOO Z7 5G. 

The two smartphones appear to have the same specifications when it comes to design and the display wherein: 6.38-inch AMOLED screen on the iQOO Z7s 5G and iQOO Z7 5G boasts a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a refresh rate of 90 Hz featuring a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. The smartphones flaunt 73.53 mm * 158.91 mm * 7.80 mm dimensions with 172g weight (iQOO Z7s 5G) and 173g weight (iQOO Z7 5G).

Processor

iQOO Z7s 5G

The iQOO Z7s' chipset is the Snapdragon 695. The phone offers features like motion control, a 1200Hz rapid touch sampling rate, with Ultra Game mode for a better gaming experience. The iQOO Z7s 5G is powered by Android 13 OS, which operates on FunTouch OS 13. 

The device's 4,500mAh battery enables 44W quick charging. The gadget has 128 GB of physical storage, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of virtual RAM. For more storage, there is an integrated microSD card slot.

iQOO Z7 5G

The iQOO offers a 1200 Hz Instant Touch Sampling Rate just like its companion smartphone and 10x Touch Control Resolution which enhances the gaming experience in the Ultra Game mode. The cell phone is powered by Android 13 OS operating on FunTouch OS 13 as well. However, the iQOO Z7 5G features Dimensity 920 with TSMC 6 nm in an octa core processor. This helps in eliminating excessive power usage.  

The device enjoys similar features for the battery and memory attributes: a 4,500mAh battery featuring 44W quick charging with 128 GB of physical storage, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of virtual RAM and 1TB expandable memory. You can game on the device for 7.5hrs without interruption, claims the brand.

Camera

iQOO Z7s 5G

The iQOO Z7s has a front-facing 16-megapixel camera. A 64 MP primary camera with OIS support, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera, including an LED flash are all located on the device's back panel.

The camera explores Portrait, Night, Video, 64MP, Pano, Live Photo, Slo-mo, Time-lapse, Pro, Vlog Movie, Documents, Double Exposure, Dual View, and 4K video recording @30 FPS.

iQOO Z7 5G

The camera for this model flaunts the same specifications with 64 MP primary camera with OIS support, a 2-megapixel bokeh camera in the rear setup with GW3 camera sensor along with 1/1.97″ f/1.79  and 16 MP camera in the front.  

The camera functions extend to Night Scene, Portrait Mode, Micro Movie, 64MP, Panorama, Dynamic Photo, Slow Motion, Time-lapse Photography, Pro Mode, AR Mode, Document Mode, Double Exposure and Dual-view Video.

It's nearly comparable to the iQOO Z7 in terms of specs and style. The Z7’s Dimensity 920 chip and the Z7s' Snapdragon 695 chip are the only significant differences between the two phones.

iQOO Z7s 5G: Price and Availability 

On both Amazon and the iQOO India website, the iQOO Z7s 5G has already been available for purchase. Priced at ₹18,999 ($229) and ₹19,999 ($241), respectively for the phone's 6 GB + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage models. The smartphone is available in two colour variants Pacific Night and Norway Blue. The smartphone can be bought for a low price as ₹17,499 ($211) on Amazon after applying bank incentives.
