Motorola today revealed its latest addition to the budget lineup, the Moto g64. The Moto g64 is a slightly tweaked version of its predecessor, the Moto g54. The phone is priced at INR 14,999, competing with the likes of the Vivo T3x, realme P1, and the POCO X6 Neo.

Moto g64 Specs

The Moto g64 sports a 6.5” 120 Hz LCD screen (30 Hz-120Hz) that has a pixel density of 405 ppi and peak brightness of 560 nits. With most competitors like the POCO X6 Neo and the realme P1 offering AMOLED screens with really high brightness, I think Motorola should have at least opted for a 90 Hz AMOLED on the g64.

The phone is made entirely out of plastic, but there is Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. It is also IP52 water repellent, so you don’t have to worry about minor splashes or dust.

Moving on, the Moto g64 comes with the new MediaTek Dimensity 7025. But don’t let the new name fool you; the Dimensity 7025 is essentially a Dimensity 7020 with 5-6% performance gains. For reference, the Dimensity 7020 has an AnTuTu score of around 470K.

The Dimensity 7025 on the Moto g64 is paired with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

As for the cameras, the Moto g64 features the same camera setup as its predecessor. The main camera is a 50 MP f/1.8 sensor with OIS and the ultra-wide is an 8 MP f/2.2 sensor with 118° FOV. On the front, you get a 16 MP f/2.4 lens for capturing selfies.

Furthermore, the Moto g64 has a 6000 mAh battery that can be juiced up using the 33W charger to 50% in 33 minutes. The phone supports the PD 3.0 protocol, making it compatible with more chargers.
