The lawsuit alleges that Meta employs harmful techniques to keep children hooked on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, which, in their view, has negative repercussions on children’s mental health.

As Meta explores the integration of AI-generated content into its platforms, it will need to navigate these concerns and potentially address the implications on user well-being and addiction to ensure a responsible and sustainable future for social media.
