iQOO Neo 7 Pro launch is not far away as the smartphone manufacturer has started teasing the phone in the Indian market. The teaser post came from iQOO India’s CEO Nipun Marya, who shared a teaser image on Twitter showcasing the silhouette of the upcoming device. Notably, the image also revealed an eye-catching orange color option for the device.
Initially, speculations suggested that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro would be a rebranded version of the recently launched iQOO Neo 8 in China. However, a closer analysis of the teaser image has cast doubt on this assumption. The distinct camera bump design showcased in the teaser aligns more closely with the iQOO Neo 7 series devices rather than the Neo 8, hinting at the possibility of a rebranded Neo 7 series smartphone, potentially the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition.
Taking a closer look at the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition, which was exclusively unveiled in China in December 2022, it is evident that the device prioritizes performance while also incorporating premium camera capabilities found in the iQOO 9 Pro.
iQOO Neo 7: What to expect?
The iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition boasts a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a centered punch-hole cutout. With a high 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and an impressive peak brightness of 1,500 nits, the display delivers a captivating visual experience. The device also features an in-screen fingerprint scanner for convenient unlocking, while the Pro+ display chip enhances display capabilities with features like frame rate interpolation and image rendering.
Turning to the camera setup, the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition sports a square-shaped camera module on its rear panel. It houses a powerful 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP third camera. For stunning selfies, the device offers a 16MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, ensuring seamless performance. It offers up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, providing ample space for users’ data and applications.
