iPhone 15 Ultra to overhaul the iPhone 14 Pro design? Check this out

1 year ago 70

Apple to bring a major change in the iPhone 15 Ultra’s display design? Here’s what the latest leak revealed.

This year, everyone is talking about the arrival of the Dynamic Island of iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max - a smart trick to hide the pill-shaped cutout. With this, Apple ditched the idea of the notch design in favour of a pill-shaped cutout. However, the latest design leak for next year's iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is expected to be called the iPhone 15 Ultra, gives a shocking change to the current design. The concept image comes from an industry insider MajinBu, who claims that the iPhone 15 Ultra will feature two selfie cameras instead of one!

"According to what is reported by my source iPhone 15 Ultra will have 2 front cameras, USB-C and will start from 256GB. iPhone 15 Pro instead will always start from 128GB and will have USB-C but only 1 front camera," a tweet by MajinBu reads. This comes along with a concept image which shows two cameras in the front, however, it is unclear whether it will remain the same concept of pill-shape cutout or not.

If the leak comes true, then this will be the first time that a Apple iPhone will feature a dual selfie camera. However, Android smartphones have experimented with dual front-facing cameras in the past such as Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, Vivo V23 5G, Google Pixel 3XL, and more. The non-Pro iPhone 15 models have to settle with a single selfie camera, the leak suggests. But there is good news for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro variants too.

iPhone 15 Pro may not get dual-selfie cameras

The leaker also adds more information for the iPhone 15 Ultra's sibling, the iPhone 15 Pro which is expected to continue with a single selfie camera next year. Thankfully, it is expected to get a USB-C charging port instead of the Lightning port. Moreover, it may run on an A16 Bionic chipset, which we have seen in the iPhone 14 Pro models while keeping the A17 chipset exclusively for the iPhone 15 Pro models.
