Home Mobile News iPhone 15 Ultra to be a creator’s iPhone? Watch out Samsung, it could do 8K videos

iPhone 15 Ultra leaks now suggest the possibility of doing 8K resolution videos as well as better battery life.

iPhone 15 Ultra could finally have what it takes to challenge the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, or Galaxy S23 Ultra! With the iPhone 14 series already out in the market, it is now time for Apple to prepare the iPhone 15 series for a launch exactly a year from now. Some leaks have already revealed what we can expect from the next-gen iPhones and spoiler alert, there are some big ones coming. However, the biggest one has to be the iPhone 15 Ultra, which could be the most feature-rich iPhone Apple will sell by 2023.

Previous rumours had hinted about Apple renaming the iPhone 15 Pro Max to iPhone 15 Ultra. It is now said that this iPhone 15 Ultra could have cameras capable of recording 8K resolution video. Not a new thing for Android phone users, right? However, iPhones can still record 4K videos only and the new 48MP cameras on the iPhone 14 Pro are limited to 4K videos only. Maybe Apple wasn't ready for 8K with the iPhone 14 Pro?

Based on the estimations from LeaksApplePro, it is also said that the iPhone 15 Ultra will offer a much better battery life, which could enhance the stamina by up to 4 hours. That's a lot of added stamina and could make the iPhone 15 Ultra a close contender for the best flagship phone next year. After all, Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra struggles to make through a single day.

Other than that, the iPhone 15 Ultra is also expected to get a new periscope lens setup for the zoom camera, which could allow better zoom performance when compared to the 3X telephoto camera on the current models.

Apple could repeat its strategy of reserving the new chip for the Pro models only and have the A17 Bionic chip on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra. With all these upgrades, the iPhone 15 Ultra could command a premium of $100 over the starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Tipsters are still wondering whether Apple could make the first step towards hiding the Face ID sensors under the display. So far, it has been said that all iPhone 15 models will feature the Dynamic Island arrangement for the camera and sensors.
