iPhone 15 Pro Will Get Resident Evil And Death Stranding Later This Year

1 year ago 55

At the “Wonderlust” event held on September 12, 2023, Apple unveiled the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max with the new A17 Pro chipset, the company’s most powerful silicon ever. The new processor has a 10% faster CPU, two times faster Neural Engine, and a 20% faster GPU (with a six-core design), unlocking entirely new gaming experiences. To solidify the Pro model’s position as a gaming smartphone, Apple is bringing several AAA console titles to the iPhone 15 Pro.

iPhone 15 Pro Series To Get Four Video Game Titles Soon

As the official press release mentions, the Pro iPhones will soon get video games like Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 remake. It looks like Apple has worked closely with the developers of the horror survival game, Capcom, to optimize the graphics and performance according to the smartphones’ screen and processor and is ready to unleash the next level of mobile gaming on its iPhone 15 Pro series.

iPhone 15 Pro features

Along with the two Resident Evil titles, Kijoma Productions’ Death Stranding will also debut on the iPhone 15 Pro series later in 2023. In 2024, Apple will release Assassins Creed Mirage, an open-world adventure game that is about to debut on consoles and PCs in October 2023. This will be the first time a console version of Assassins’s Creed will be available to play on a smartphone. However, that is the extent of information we have.

Apple hasn’t confirmed the release date of these titles. It is also unclear whether the games will support a controller and how much they’ll cost. Nonetheless, it’s great that the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max are taking mobile gaming to the next level, setting up an example for the rest of the industry. Android’s most powerful smartphones, which feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, are still catching up on Apple’s 2022 A16 Bionic chipset.
