Apple has confirmed the bug that causes iPhone 14 Pro models to freeze during data transfer. Fix to roll out soon.

It's been just a few days since Apple's latest iPhone 14 flagship series went on sale and already a couple of bugs have been reported by users. Yesterday, users reported that the phones' camera was causing rattling noise when used with certain apps. And the latest complaints are indicating the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max freeze after data transfers due to bugs.

Reportedly, this bug is exclusive to the Pro models only and is triggered as soon as the user attempts to restore data from iCloud via the Quick Start process from their old iPhone making it unresponsive.

Apple has acknowledged this bug and said that it is working on a fix. As reported by MacRumors, the tech giant confirmed being aware of this freezing issue in an internal memo and said that they're investigating it. However, an official fix is yet to be rolled out. The iPhone 14 Pro or Pro Max users facing this issue are advised to force restart their phone if it becomes unresponsive for over five minutes. This would help the iPhone to function normally thereafter.

Other bugs in iPhone 14 Series

This is not the only issue, but iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max users are also facing issues while connecting their device to an open Wi-Fi network during the activation process. However, the company said that this was not an issue and advised users to solve this issue by connecting to a PC or Mac with iTunes during the onboarding process when prompted to connect to a Wi-Fi network and then go back to in the settings to turn on Wi-Fi. Also, Apple has advised iPhone 14 users to update to the latest version of iOS to get all the fixes.
