iPhone 14 Max is just a month away; at $899, pay a small price for this big phone

Apple iPhone 14 may well look a lot like the iPhone 13, but the new entrant in the series - the iPhone 14 Max - is all set to steal the limelight after having killed off the iPhone 14 mini. As far as rumours and leaks are concerned, this new iPhone is expected to get the ‘Max' name due to its mammoth size- it is as big as the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The replacement of the iPhone 14 mini will be a drastic change from the usual offerings in an iPhone series from what was launched over the last two years. This will also be the first time that Apple will bring an iPhone with a 6.7-inch display that is not a Pro variant! iPhone 14 Max price may well start at iPhone 14 Max/Plus from $899 while that of iPhone 14 Pro Max is $1199.

Rumours indicate that the iPhone 14 Max will be a full package offering a Pro-like design at an affordable price. Apple iPhone 14 series is tipped to launch in the first week of this September and this is what Apple iPhone's new Max avatar may look like.

iPhone 14 Max: Here's what we know so far

1. The iPhone 14 Max will offer the same display size as the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It will feature a 6.7-inch display.
2. The iPhone 14 Max will continue with the notch-design display like its previous iteration- the iPhone 13 series. The leaked new i-shaped punch hole display will only feature in the Pro models of the lineup.
3. Except for the larger display, the rest of the specs are tipped to remain identical to the standard iPhone 14. That means it will continue with the dual-camera setup at back with the same 12MP camera sensors. The good part is the sensors in the complete iPhone 14 lineup are expected to be larger than the iPhone 13 series. 
4. Sadly, the Max and the standard iPhone 14 will continue with the A15 Bionic chipset. However, it will be the chipset that had featured in the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. On the other hand, Pro models will pack a new A16 Bionic Chipset.
5. From the earlier iPhones, the iPhone 13 offers better battery life with a day-long battery backup. Interestingly, rumours suggest that the new iPhone 14 Max will get a bigger battery.
