Dubbed as the next big announcement for the iPhone, the iOS 16 update is coming to all the supported iPhones on September 12. Note that this is the stable version of iOS 16 and you won't need to enrol in the beta programme for the same. The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will get iOS 16 preinstalled whereas the iPhone 13 and older models will get it as an update.

The iOS 16 update won't come to the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and iPhone SE 1st Gen.
