Huawei is preparing for a big event on Thursday (September 19) with a new watch incoming (the Huawei Watch GT 5, most likely the Watch D2 as well) and a new tablet. Well, new for the global market, anyway, as this is almost certainly the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) that was announced in China back in August.
The teaser posts so far mention the Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display, which made its debut with the Pro 12.2. This is a dual-layer OLED with higher brightness (up to 2,000 nits), increased endurance (should last three times longer than a regular OLED) and with 33% lower power consumption to boot.

Drawing and sketching is a major sales point for this tablet, thanks to the Huawei GoPaint app. The display runs at 144Hz, by the way, so it should feel more responsive as you draw.
