Honor will launch the Magic 5 series at the end of the month, and we expect four devices in the lineup. The mightier two, the Pro and Ultimate, just appeared at 3C (China Compulsory Certification) with their charging capabilities, maxing out at 66W (11V/6A).
This is a stark difference from their respective predecessors that launched with 100W fast charging.
The PGT-AN10 (the model number of the Honor Magic 5 Pro) and the PGT-AN20 (that’s the Honor Magic 5 Ultimate) will support the HW-110600C00 charger, which comes with Honor SuperCharge at 66W. The phones can also charge at 40W or 10W, provided they have the appropriate older adapter with the same standard.
Honor might be stepping back on the charging, but we expect the Pro and Ultimate to leap forward with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Reports suggested the phone might have quad 50 MP cameras, and we believe a periscope lens will also be present.
