According to media invites by the company, the Vivo X100 series will arrive in India on January 4, 2024. This is the exact date when Xiaomi unveils the Redmi Note 13 Pro in India. Nonetheless, Vivo has also set up a new microsite for the upcoming smartphones, which include the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro. These models should come in three colors: Sunset, Startrail Blue, and Asteroid Black.

Dimensity 9300 SoC Debuts with Cortex-X4 cores Promises Impressive Performance Gains

The vanilla Vivo X100 should come with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 3000 nits and highest refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 (4nm) SoC with the prime core clocked at 3.25GHz. In India, the smartphone should arrive in multiple storage and memory models, starting from 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM.

Regarding cameras, the Vivo X100 should feature a Sony IMX920 VCS sensor for up to three times optical zoom and a 50MP (f/2.0) sensor for capturing ultrawide perspective. Powering the smartphone should be a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging.

Vivo X100 Pro Expected Specifications

The Vivo X100 Pro has a screen similar to the regular model: a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,000 nits brightness. The handset even runs on the same chipset, Dimensity 9300 SoC (4nm). However, there’s a major difference in the camera system of these smartphones.

For instance, the X100 Pro features a 50MP (f/1.8) Sony IMX989 primary sensor, a 50MP (f/2.5) ZEISS periscope lens for up to 4.3x optical zoom, and another 50MP (f/2.0) ultrawide sensor. Further, this model also has a larger 5,400 mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Smartphone connectivity options should remain identical, including Wi-Fi 6/7, Bluetooth v5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C (2.0 on the regular and 3.2 on the Pro model).
