Here’s What The New MSI Prestige AI Series Laptops With Intel Core Ultra Processors Offer

MSI has launched its new Prestige AI series in India. The models in the series, including Prestige 16 AI Studio, Prestige 16 AI Evo, and Prestige 13 AI Evo, will be available to purchase by March 2024. Although the company hasn’t revealed the pricing yet, it has unveiled the entire specifications and features list.

MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio Specifications

The MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio has two display options: a 16-inch UHD+ OLED screen and a 16-inch QHD+ IPS screen. Under the hood, the laptops feature up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor. Those looking for a slightly less powerful processor can also opt for the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor. Both chipsets are combined with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The AI Studio series also has optional graphics processors, wherein users can select up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 with 8GB of GDDR6 RAM. Users can also choose from GeForce RTX 4060 6GB GDDR6 and GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB of GDDR6 RAM. Depending on the graphics processor, the price of the model will change.

In terms of ports, users get one Thunderbolt 4/DP port that supports PD 3.1 charging, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that supports PD 3.0 charging, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, one SD card reader, one HDMI port that supports 8K video at 60 frames per second, and one RJ45 port. The laptop also has a stereo speaker setup, one audio jack, supports DTS audio processing, and three microphones.

Regarding the battery, the Prestige 16 AI Studio features a 99.9Whr cell that supports 140W USB Type-C PD 3.1 charging. This particular model is only available in Stellar Gray color.

MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo Specifications

The Prestige 16 AI has a 16-inch QHD+ screen with 400 nits of peak brightness and an IPS panel. Under the hood, the laptop ships with either Intel Core Ultra 9 or Ultra 7 processors, depending on users’ chosen models. In terms of memory, the laptop comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 dual-channel memory. While the Prestige 16 AI Studio has one NVMe M.2 SSD slot, the Prestige 16 Evo features two slots.

In terms of ports, users get two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, one SD card reader, one HDMI port, and one RJ45 port. This model has a 99.9 Whr cell supporting 100W USB Type-C PD 3.0 charging. Users also get a fingerprint reader, IR webcam, and a dual-speaker setup with DTS audio processing. The Lenovo Prestige 16 AI Evo is only available in the Stellar Gray color.

MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo Specifications

Along with the two 16-inch laptops, MSI has also released a compact version that carries a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED screen. Called the Prestige 13 AI Evo, the laptop ships with either Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 processors, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and one NVMe SSD slot for storage. However, this model, like the 16-inch EVO variant, doesn’t have dedicated graphics.

Nonetheless, users still get many ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, one HDMI port, one microSD card reader, and one Kensington lock. The battery is slightly smaller at 75 Whr and supports 65W Type-C PD charging. The laptop retains two 2W speakers with DTS audio processing and has a three-microphone array.

Unlike the other two models, this laptop weighs 990 grams, making it extremely light. The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo is available in two colors: Stellar and Gray Pure White.
