Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro: Should you buy them?

We have been testing the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro since last week and so far, it is doing what Pixels do best – impress with their camera performance and the Android experience. This generation of the Google Pixel is powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip that promises better overall performance and superior AI as well as ML performance. The chip is what powers all the smart features on the Pixel camera as well as everything else that is smart with Google.

The Pixel 7 has a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera, while the Pixel 7 Pro gains a 48MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Both phones use Google's Hi-Res Zoom feature, which is simply a better name for smart and great upscaling technique. The Pixel 7 Pro also has the bigger 5000mAh battery and a 6.7-inch 10Hz-120Hz refresh rate display, as compared to the Pixel 7's 6.3-inch 90Hz display and 4270mAh battery.
