Farzi OTT Streaming: Shahid Kapoor makes his OTT debut with this Amazon Original by Raj & DK

OTT platform Amazon Prime Video announced a long line-up of shows and movies that will stream on the platform in 2022 and 2023 and looks like the platform is working hard to fulfill what it promised as it has dropped a short teaser announcing one of its much-awaited original web series ‘Farzi’ by director duo Raj and DK. Farzi is an action thriller that marks the OTT debut of Shahid Kapoor. After a short teaser, some promotional posters were also released by Amazon that revealed the looks of Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi and confirmed the streaming date for the series.

Ever since the announcement has been made, social media users have been showing their excitement about this upcoming Amazon Original. The series not only has a strong star cast but has also been directed by the creators of The Family Man.

Farzi OTT Release Date

The series will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on February 10, 2023. The series can be watched by those who own an Amazon Prime membership. So, if you don’t have one, subscribe to the platform now for Rs. 1499 per year. The membership can also be availed for Rs. 599 per year for the Mobile Edition. The series will have 8 episodes.

Amazon Prime Video took to Twitter to share an intense image of Shahid Kapoor with the caption- ‘Con hai yeh Farzi’. While the other poster featuring Vijay Sethupathi is captioned- Here to uncover the asli behind the Farzi. The trailer is expected to be released soon.

Farzi: Cast and Crew

The web series stars Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The other cast includes equally power-packed performers like Kay Kay Menon, Raashii Khanna, Amol Palekar, Regina Cassandra, and Bhuvan Arora among others. The series has been produced under the D2R Films Banner and is written by Suman Kumar and Sita R Menon.
