Ather Drops Glimpse of Rizta E-Scooter’s Touchscreen in New Promo

6 months ago 38

Electric two-wheeler pioneer Ather Energy is revving up for the imminent launch of its latest model, the Rizta electric scooter. In anticipation of the release, the company has unveiled a tantalizing promo clip, offering a sneak peek into the Rizta’s capabilities. The video showcases the Rizta gracefully undergoing a rigorous water-wading test, braving a formidable 400 mm of water with ease.

A blurry yet intriguing glimpse of its dashboard hints at the incorporation of a familiar feature – the renowned 7.0-inch color touchscreen, a hallmark of Ather’s acclaimed 450 lineup. Co-founder Swapnil Jain’s revelation about the water test adds to the excitement surrounding this highly anticipated addition to Ather’s impressive roster of electric vehicles.

The new Rizta scooter from Ather Energy is bigger than the older 450 series. Instead of having a stacked headlight like the old models, it has a slimmer, horizontal headlight in the front. This makes it look different and maybe even fancier than before.

Ather Rizta Evident Features

The scooter comes packed with features like a telescopic fork, 12-inch alloy wheels, and a front disc brake. It also has a comfy wide seat, a flat floorboard, and extra protection for the final drive. Plus, there’s a sturdy grab rail for passengers, built-in footrests, and a cool horizontal LED tail-light. What’s more, it’s expected to have even more storage space under the seat compared to the 22 liters in the 450 model.

Well, we had our fun with ‘Diesel’.

But we are definitely not naming our first family scooter Diesel (sorry, Fast and Furious fans)

Unlike our usual names which have been more of an engineering nomenclature, we are taking a different route this time.

Similar to the 450 series, the Rizta is powered by a mid-drive motor, though any alterations to the frame are still uncertain. Ather is contemplating using steel instead of aluminum to cut down on expenses. Additionally, there’s a possibility that they might make the 7.0-inch ‘DeepView’ LCD, first seen on the 450S, available on base models to make them more budget-friendly.
