Apple will be reducing its reliance on China for manufacturing and it could also affect the overall availability as well as the price. Apple currently has the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro max in its lineup, and its only China that gets to make all of them.

The report also says that the production of other Apple products, including Mac, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods. It is said to increase to 25 percent outside of China by 2025 as well. Taiwanese vendors like Hon Hai and Pegatron could be crucial for the relocation of production to India.

At the moment, it is Wistron that handles the production of models such as the iPhone SE and iPhone 12, while Foxconn is manufacturing the iPhone 13 at the moment, and could be beginning the iPhone 14 production in India soon.

On the other hand, there were talks of the Tata Group in talks with Wistron to manufacture iPhones in India and expand India's participation in the manufacturing process.
