Apple patent hints at smart ring in near future: Would the iPhone maker launch a smart ring

Smart Rings seem like a new thing in the market now. As the Indians companies like Boat and Noise, have been in talks lately about their new inventions, Smart Rings. A lot of rumours of their smartrings are surfacing on the internet. But now tech-giant like Apple has been also in talks about its upcoming smartring. According to the reports, Apple has filed a patent “Ring Input Device with Pressure-Sensitive Input,” which clearly confirms a new product from the company with plenty of cool features. 

According to an Apple Insider, The tech-giant has filed a patent to protect their idea at United States Patent and Tradement Office (USPTO).

We can expect the ring to be like a tiny remote control that you put on your finger. It might be able to do things like control your TV, lights, and phone obviously. It is expected to have a moveable rim and could come with many sensors so that it can feel when you touch it. This helps you control things like your home appliances.

For example, you can use it to turn on your lights, change channels on your smart TV, or read social media updates on your computer. It could also tell you if you have messages or calls on your phone by making a small vibration, using haptic engines.
