The fourth-generation Apple iPhone SE has been in the news for a while now. The affordable iPhone smartphone has faced several delays and the latest update is that the device might go official in early 2025. Earlier there were reports that iPhone SE 4 would feature a design inspired by iPhone 14 but now the speculations are rife that Apple is planning to ditch the notch in favor of the Dynamic Island. The Dynamic Island first debuted on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max and later extended to the entire iPhone 15 Series.

The only difference is that be iPhone SE 4 features a single camera instead of the dual sensors on the iPhone 16 series. iPhone SE 4 will feature Dynamic Island housing the Face ID and selfie snapper. The tipster has also shared a rough sketch to illustrate the same.
He further claims that dimensions will be similar to iPhone XR, though it is still very early to confirm anything so take these rumors with a pinch of salt.

Apple iPhone SE 4: Expected Specifications
Apple iPhone SE 4 is said to sport a 6.1-inch OLED display and also feature an in-house 5G modem chip. There will be a USB-C port for charging.
The chipset for iPhone SE 4 is expected to be based on TSMC’s lower-cost N3E process. The company might bring a 48MP main sensor to its SE model this time. iPhone SE 4 is said to run iOS 19.
Apple iPhone SE 4: Launch Timeline
According to Apple’s track record of launching a new SE model every two years, the iPhone SE 4 is supposed to arrive in 2024 itself. However, it doesn’t look like Apple is planning a launch anytime soon, so the latest we can expect to see the iPhone SE 4 launching is in March 2025.
For the record, the iPhone SE 3 (2022) was launched in March 2022 at a price of Rs. 43,900 for the base 64GB storage model.
