Amazon Prime, Netflix, Disney+Hotstar, SonyLiv and others Mobile Only Plans Costs and Benefits

Amazon recently announced a Prime Video mobile subscription plan following the suit of other video streaming services that have been ahead in this mobile-only subscription game. From Netflix to Disney+Hotstar and SonyLiv to Voot all major OTT have a mobile-centric plan available for Indian consumers.

We have created a list here explaining the mobile plans of every available OTT platform and their benefits so that you can make the most of details your Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+Hotstar, SonyLiv, and others subscription plans.

Amazon Prime Video mobile plan: ₹599/year

Amazon’s new smartphone plan is called Prime Video Mobile edition and as of now it is available in India only. The new mobile plan is priced at Rs 599 with a validity of one year offering access to the Prime Video app to one user only. Unlike regular prime membership, this one does not provide advantages like free Amazon delivery, Amazon Music, multi-user access, etc.

Netflix Mobile plan: ₹149/month

Netflix has several subscription options available in India but the most cost-effective one is Mobile-only plan which costs Rs 149 per month. The package provides access to all of the Netflix platform’s content at an SD quality of 480p resolution. This mobile subscription allows users to watch Netflix content on mobile phones and tablets.

Disney+ Hotstar Mobile plan: ₹149 for 3 months

For mobile devices, Disney+ Hotstar offers both monthly and yearly plans which cost Rs 149 for three months and Rs 499 for a year. Though both of these mobile plans allow users to log in to one device at a time and it logs out of the previous device when a new device is logged in. Also, the plans are ad-supported.

SonyLiv Mobile plan: ₹599/year

The annual cost of the SonyLiv mobile plan is Rs 599. It allows one mobile device to log in at a time and 720p streaming. The platform offers movies, TV daily soaps, and web series.

Voot Select Mobile plan: ₹299/year

Voot Select offers only one mobile plan which costs Rs 299 annually. The plan allows 1 mobile device and 720p streaming. The mobile plan of Voot costs Rs 299 annually offering access to movies, sports, and shows. It allows one device to log in on the app with a video quality of 720p HD resolution.

Zee5: No mobile plan

Zee5 does not have a mobile-only plan. However, Zee5 is currently offering a 3-month plan at Rs 399 and an annual subscription at Rs 999 which is currently available at an offer price of Rs 699. The Rs 399 plan allows two screens and the Rs 999 plan offers three screens at a time.

ALT Balaji: No mobile plan

The regular subscription plan for ALT Balaji costs Rs 100 for 2 months, Rs 199 for 6 months, and Rs 300 annually. If you wish to purchase an ALTBalaji plan, you can try one out for seven days without paying anything.

Discovery+: No mobile plan

Discovery+, the American streaming service owned by Warner Bros, offers one of the most affordable plans in India. It costs Rs 199 per month and Rs 399 per year for the subscription.

Eros Now: No mobile plan

There is no specific mobile plan available from Eros Now video platform. The monthly, quarterly, and annual plans cost Rs. 49, Rs. 79, and Rs. 399 respectively.
